We five writers have come together to share our insight and experience writing with any and all. We hope this experiment (of sorts) brings together varying voices so that we can learn from one another in order to sharpen our individual crafts.

Between the five of us, we write novel-length fiction, short stories, non-fiction, poetry, plays and screenplays. Many of us write in more than one genre. This mix should offer a healthy variety on all that goes into our craft. We hope this also offers our readers a unique experience, as too often people feel they need to follow only what happens in their given genre.

Each month we will each offer our own take on a given subject (or, if it helps, theme). With our posts spread out over the course of the month, you will hopefully find plenty of engaging material to keep checking back. Please share your thoughts along the way. Tell us what you want to hear about. Raise questions. This blog is meant to be a two-way street.

In addition, this blog contributes posts dedicated to the analysis of various written forms.  Each month, the writers contribute their take on a particular work—be it short form or long form fiction, screenwriting, films, or screenplays—discussing what about this particular piece functions.  This allows for us to articulate how a particular tool of writing is working, a skill useful in our own work and hopefully our readers.  The reviews we contribute carry this same characteristic.

Enjoy the read!

It’s a great concept, refreshing to read about writers willing to share some of their “secrets”. Did you publish a list of books that each writer has written? Perhaps this is confidential though
